I have been a little caught up in life once again. This lark with there not being enough hours in the day is getting a little wearisome. Och well, I have more important things to think about. Namely fringes. Or bangs.
Are there other words for the fringe? I don't know and I want to.
Anyway, I'm digressing as usual.
Here I am with my fringe, it does that flicky thing all on its own. I'm not sure why but it always seems to want to escape my eyebrows, maybe it's the huge difference in colours.
So, I have a question, this is my current fringe:

I'm also tempted by a dress of this nature, but a new fringe is cheaper. And will grow if it doesn't quite fit your face.I can't decide if I have the courage for a fringe as severe as this. Or in fact if I have the face for it.
In fact, I only have a fringe these days because I was bored and hacked a chunk out of my hair.
I raised the issue of a new fringe yesterday and my niece was adamant it was a bad idea and yet I am still unsure of this and tempted to hack further at my hair.
I also have always loved the idea of one day going raven haired, but I am fully aware I will look like the living dead with this pale skin, although lovely Ms Max up there looks pretty pale.....

After a bit of research here (at 5am on a Saturday morning, due to a rotten cold!) I have discovered that "the term fringe refers to the resemblance of the short row of hair to ornamental fringe trim, such as that often found on shawls." Also, "the term bangs originally referred to hair cut bang-off (straight across at the front), although the term is now applied to diverse forms of fringe. It is probably related to bang-tail, a term still used for the practice of cutting horses' tails straight across."

Apart from the porno-movie sound track (how do I know, you may WELL ask, and you won't be getting an answer!) and the scary skin-tight shirt with a... wot accent IS that? (A porno-accent! Don't ask) The scary man did cut a quite creditable shawl fringe, come horse tail, bang-off!
I really thought she was going to be lopsided, in fact, did they cut (trim with scissors?) that video so the scary man could dynamically TRIM? Hmm?
I think the secret is in the eyebrows. If you have one higher than the other, this will work! Take a video to share with your friends! Just remember to put on the porno sound track, call yourself Amanda and, magically, you too can have Jackie O bangs!

It's really scary... it grows so fast when you're happy with it. When you're unhappy with it, it's bound to grow at half, if not quarter, speed!
